Mission Statement

The mission of Raise a Hand, Raise a Voice is to help children understand the importance of letting the world know that they are retaining the knowledge that the teacher imparts with them. we work to give the students of KIPP Academy Midde School a desire to become an active member of the classroom setting.

Class Participation

Over the years children of KIPP Academy have been less eagar to show their intelligence by speaking up in class. Our organization works to incourage kids to raise there hands whenever they have a question or know the answer to a problem. To accomplish this, students will be provide with an incentive for raising their hands. Eventually the kids will be weaned from this tactic, starting with the older grade levels. Hopefully by the end of the 2008-2009 year KIPP Academy Middle School would have 100% participation.
